If there was anything Lancie demanded in a bed, it was a headboard. It didn't have to be
attached to the bedframe (even the bedframe was optional), it didn't even have to be the right
size for his mattress... there just had to be a headboard. Because nothing was as important as
aesthetics and appearance, he learned from the home design shows, and when he'd jump on the bed
or make any subtle motion he needed there to be a corresponding thunk thunk against the wall.
later on he would demand something entirely different making noise when he was in bed...
